Our Kratom Powder and Crushed leaf products are made of freshly dried leaves of the Mitragyna Speciosa tree. For reasons of transparency we have named our various powders after the region where the specific trees grow.

Our strains and regions.
Borneo Red Vein originates from central Borneo (Kalimantan) and the Sumatra Red and White Veined Kratom leaves are harvested in the jungles on the north east side of the Sumatra Island, western Indonesia. Riau grows in the Riau , north east of Sumatra. Our Green Malay originates from the Malay peninsular and is closely related, both genetically and in effect, to the Thai Kratom or Maeng Da. Our Thai strain is originating from Patani, southern Thailand.

100% Organic kratom and quality
All our kratom powder is harvested from older trees, mostly grown wild in the various jungles, so our products are 100% organic. Since Bikhuk has been harvesting and processing kratom leaves for years, we have been able to develop advanced methods of harvesting, drying and processing, as a result the kratom contains more alkaloids compared to the average product you will find in the market.

Borneo Red Vein
Borneo Red Vein is traditionally known for its sedative properties, it is available both in crushed leaf (as in the picture) and as a fine kratom powder. Borneo is sometimes referred to as Bali Kratom.

Effects: The native users of this strain describe its effects ad sedative, analgesic and relaxing, in moderate to small amounts slightly euphoric, can be very sedative when used in larger amounts. This strain contains relatively more Mitragynine compared to other strains, this alkaloid is known for its analgesic properties.
Traditional usage: Used for pain relief, as a relaxant and as a sleeping aid.
Duration:  The effects can be noticed within the 30-45 minutes. The effects itself last over 6-7 hours.

Sumatra White Vein
The Sumatra White Vein is a light colored leaf grown on the north western part of this Indonesian island. It gives a light green kratom powder when dried. This strain was traditionally known for its energizing and euphoric properties. Its effects are known by the natives as uplifting.

Effects: Native users reported uplifting, energizing and euphoric effects. Amounts used traditionally:  Average amounts used are around 6-7 grams.When the powder was used in excess the uplifting effects were being described as overwhelming.
Traditional Usage: Sumatra White has been traditionally used to battle anxiety, for endurance and stimulation, besides that it was known to suppress feelings of hunger.
Duration: Effects may be noticed after 15-20 minutes, the effects can last around 5 hours, a bit shorter than the Borneo Red and Green Malay.

Sumatra Red Vein
The Red Veined Sumatra strain has similar properties as the White Vein from Sumatra, but its effects are described as more mellow and relaxing by the natives of the region. It has been used in combination with the white veined strain, locals believed that this would enhance the effects.


Effects:  The local islanders reported uplifting and slightly euphoric feelings when this was used, the effects were more relax and mellow compared to the effects of the White Sumatra.
Amounts used:  The locals use the in average the same amounts of this strain, 6-7 grams.
Traditional Usage: Used as a relaxant, pain relief and to stop carvings. The combination of the euphoric and yet relaxed properties were used by some to battle depression and anxieties. Duration: The effects may be noticed after 15-20 minutes, they can last  around 5-6 hours.



Green Malay
The Malay strain of kratom is a larger and dark green leaf.  According to the local from the area this unique powder has both euphoric, stimulant as well as sedative and relaxing effects. Due to the unique alkaloid profile, they reported an initial energzing rush, followed by very relaxing and a bit sedative effects after a few hours. Effects: Native users reported a unique combination of stimulant energy and sedative relaxation. Amounts used traditionally : 6-7 grams of Green Malay are reported to cause strong effects, was mostly moderately taken.
Traditional Usage: This strain was used by the natives for pain relief, relaxation and to fight depression and anxiety.
Duration: Onset is reported to be somewhat slow, 30 minutes, but the effects do last up to 7-8 hours.

Some notes
The amounts used traditionally  are the averages used by the natives with an average weight.
Amounts in general are like this

Mild Effects: < 5 grams , which is 80% of a tablespoon.
Medium/Good Effects: >5-7 grams bit more then a tablespoon.
Strong Effects: > 7-8 grams of kratom powder. One and a half tablespoon and above

Blending: Mixing or blending the various powders do result in complete different effects. Basically all powders can be mixed, but in general the Reds mix better with the whites and green.
