Still over 30.000 signatures needed to get some comment from Obama , I hope we'll get to the 100.000 soon.

On twitter #kratomsaveslives and #keepkratomlegal are massively used by concerned users, its the first time to see so many getting involved in protest, openly, against the DEA . At #IamKratom and on Youtube we're meanwhile very seeing an increase of personal, often hart-warming,  testimonies from users . This gives us hope, even if the DEA would ignore all the protests, we're still very proud of all of you who speak up !

Listening and reading through all the arguments to keep kratom legal, I mostly miss one argument, something overlooked by all protesters. Maybe its something no one realizes. Our kratom is harvested from jungle areas, these forests have been under a lot of pressure by palmoil- and woodproducers for tens of years already. Most of the primary tropical forests, in the areas we work, have simply disappeared quickly in the last 30 years, and that process was not slowing down.

Thanks to the increasing kratom demand worldwide, the local and indigenous folks in these areas, have rediscovered the value of their precious forests. Besides providing an alternative source of income, it has helped to improve the livelihood of many villages in Sumatra, Kalimantan (Borneo) and elsewhere. In places where normally trees were cut to generate some cash, or land was sold to palmproducers, now baskets of kratom are being processed. The extra income has helped many and meanwhile saved a lot of forest area's from destruction.

We're glad to see now how many of you have been helped by our herb and we hope to continue doing so in the future as well. In the meantime we are very thankful for all the support, since it can help to save many more lives than most of you realize.
