Each Kratom seedpod contains over 200 seeds, as shown below. We have shipped 5 pods for all our buyers. So plenty of kratom seeds to try to grow a tree.(see readmore for the whole story)
Growing tips. After receiving your kratom seeds, gently open the pods on a sheet of paper. Prepare one planting pot for each 20-30 seeds (they have a viability rate of 10-20%) . Standard pot soil will work probably fine a seed starting medium is better. Sprinkle the 20 seeds gently in your pot and cover them with a thin layer of soil ( or starting medium) that you sprinkle over them (don't push).
Water the pot(s) with a spray to keep the top moist and make sure they receive a good dosage of warmth each day. After around 15 days you should be able to spot the first sprouts. Spray them with a mister until they grow at least 4 leaves. Thin the pot by removing the weakest plants. Keep your kratom plant in the (in) direct sun for as long possible, try to avoid cold temperatures and extreme rain/wind in the first stage. Regarding watering, do not soak the plant and do not let the soil dry out, its better to keep the top a bit moist.
Once your little tree is starting to grow, you can increase the water frequency, maybe to once a day. Expect the first leaf production in about half year, but do not harvest to much from your young kratom tree since this might cause stress.
